Writer/Director<br>
ICF Class of '00</span>
</p>

<p>
Jesus was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He now lives with his mom and several stepbrothers and stepsisters in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles.
</p>

<p>
He always liked films and, at sixteen, he took a college filmmaking class for High School credit. During the course he produced three short super-8mm films and several more since.
</p>

<p>
Jesus graduated from Belmont High School where his favorite subjects were English, Creative Writing, Math and Drama.
</p>

<p>
His drama teacher recommended him for the <b>Inner-City Filmmakers 2000 Summer Program</b>. While in the ICF program he made an allegorical film about the conflict between good and evil. Jesus has since become a student at Santa Monica College and, through ICF, is working as a Development Intern at Edmonds Entertainment. He is staying involved with Inner-City Filmmakers through their Screenwriting and Intermediate Avid Editing classes to sharpen his filmmaking skills.
</p>

<p>
<i>"ICF has taught me how involved and complicated the filmmaking process really is. Because filmmaking is such a big challenge, I'm more motivated than ever."</i>
