A preparation for communicating effectively and properly in the business world. Assignments will be given.

The Avid Assistant
Introduction to postproduction techniques from the point of view of the Avid Assistant in preparation for large productions. Includes digitizing, bin development and organization, troubleshooting and Macintosh maintenance.

Location: ICF Editing Lab

Screenwriting
Introduction to longform storytelling including character development, plot development and developing the finale. Objective is to write and produce a twenty-minute film.

Location: Conference Room 2

Filmmakers Seminar
Meetings with professional filmmakers including writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, production designers, editors, visual effects creators, sound designers, etc.

Cinematography
Guest speakers have included: John Aronson, Russell Carpenter, Dean Cundy, Allen Daviau, John Toll, Haskell Wexler and Vilmos Zsigmond.
